Bill Schulz loaned his car to Dave Goltz who won the feature event without much effort. In this victory photo taken by Paul Conley a "little man" can clearly be seen nudging Bill's leg as he runs by. Is this a Gremlin? Unfortunately, no. This is actually an accidental double exposure on a single negative of someone running across the infield. Rumor has it that Norwood's gremlins moved to Daytona when the track closed at the end of 1972.
